My title for this chapter represents a bit different than normal interpretation of some of the events in this chapter. However, one of my favorite theologians, Dr. James Boice, agreed with my interpretation. He is at home with the Lord now and knows whether we are correct or not. However this interpretation shows us that we can think that we are doing the will of God and be out of His will and I think that is an important lesson for all of us.
